For all those who are eager to get on to the Google's new social networking site, Google+, here's a warning for you. Don't latch on to invitations from just anywhere.
Security firm Sophos reveals that cybercriminal are exploiting the Google+ brand and sending out bogus Google+ invitations.
According to Sophos, such messages sent by cyber criminals look almost similar to the emails that users may receive from friends who are already a member of Google+.
However, on clicking the link users are directed to a pharmacy website set up to sell the likes of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra to the unwary.
The world's biggest Internet search company last week made another attempt at social networking with Google+. The service aims to dethroneFacebook, terming the leading social network "sloppy, scary and insensitive".
Google+ service follows a series of failed attempts by Google with products like Google Buzz and Wave.
